MAPLE SYRUP is not only high in antioxidants, but every spoonful offers nutrients like riboflavin, zinc, magnesium, calcium and potassium.
MAPLE SYRUP has anti-inflammatory properties due to a molecule it contains called "Quebecol" (and yes, it is named after Quebec). It slows down the production of cytokines (small proteins) that could cause inflammation.
Maple-flavored pancake syrup includes high-fructose corn syrup, cellulose gum, caramel color, potassium sorbate and many other words that I can't pronounce...The ONLY ingredient in MAPLE SYRUP is MAPLE SAP!
There is nothing better than a quiet Saturday morning started off with a breakfast (made by my husband) of freshly made pancakes and our own maple syrup while surrounded by all of our fur-babies. He always makes an extra pancake for the puppies.

This is my Dad sitting on the "Springwater Volunteer Bridge" which he helped build. It is located in Wild Rose, WI.
Did you know that we can collect approx. 1000 gallons of sap in the Spring? And it all starts out with one drip at a time.
This is one of the oldest trees in our woods. We don't tap it, but it has a few cracks in the trunk that pour out sap every spring.
Our 100% Pure Maple Syrup is gathered and handcrafted from maple trees grown on our own farm.
Growing up on a dairy farm in Wisconsin, I used to help my Dad (pictured) tap trees every Spring. I have such fond memories of collecting sap with him that when my husband and I bought our own farm in Minnesota we knew we had to keep the tradition going.
We started by tapping just a few trees on the farm and now we tap over a hundred trees each Spring. We are still a very small scale operation, but I grew up on a small family farm and appreciate all the work that goes into caring for every part of it.

Welcome to our Farm!
Did you know that maple sap runs best when daytime temperatures are in the high 30s to mid-40s and overnight temperatures are below freezing? Every year is bound to be a different run. Mother Nature keeps us guessing each Spring.
Did you know that on average, a tapped maple will produce 10 to 20 gallons of sap per tap. And as long as a tree remains healthy, it should continue to produce sap for years if not decades.
Did you know that it takes approximately 35 - 40 gallons of sap to make just 1 gallon of maple syrup?
Did you know that maple syrup comes in 4 different colors? During the first few days of the "run", the syrup will be very light. By the end of the season it will get darker in color.
Did you know that in order to make syrup, you need to remove the water from the sap? To do this, we boil it down in our evaporator (shown above). The boiling process will remove 20 gallons of water each hour. This allows us to make 1/2 gallon of syrup per hour.
Did you know that we have 3 different size bottles for purchase?
